Trojan Council

Staff Assembly Passes Trojan Council Resolution

USC Staff Assembly unanimously passed its first resolution of the academic year to formally recognize Trojan Council on October 3, 2019. Trojan Council is a coalition of the four governing bodies – USC Staff Assembly, Academic Senate, Undergraduate Student Government (USG), and Graduate Student Government (GSG).  The presidents of the organizations have been meeting to discuss topics and issues of mutual concern since 2017.  In the fall, the group expanded to include the vice-presidents of each group. The formalizing of the group solidifies the collective effort of the organizations to work together on future initiatives. Trojan Council is planning a campus-wide University Forum on October 28th.  The forum is a listening session for the entire campus community.  Interested staff, students and faculty can join the conversation in the Ronald Tutor Campus Center Ballroom (UPC) or live video feed at Aresty Auditorium (HSC).  For more information or to RSVP, please visit events.usc.edu/esvp (Code: TOGETHER).
