Juli Legat, Assistant Director, Graduate Events and Programming at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, is the recipient of our April Recognition Award.  She was celebrated at the General Assembly Meeting on Friday, May 20, 2022.

Andy Chen, Direct of Graduate Programs at USC Viterbi shared why Juli deserves this recognition: “During the pandemic when staff and students remained off campus, Juli spearheaded a week-long wellness challenge that encouraged students to exercise, bike, or run around their respective neighborhoods. The Wellness events included regular online interactions and check in’s to help foster a Viterbi community and encourage students and staff to take care of our mental wellbeing.

Her professionalism, dedicated work ethic and approach, and her collaborative process make her an asset in the Viterbi community. Simply put, Juli builds bridges. It is not difficult to understand why staff, faculty and students all see Juli as an integral part of Viterbi.”

Congratulations Juli! Thank you for your contributions to the community and to the entire Trojan family!
