Big news about the Big 10! USC is a part of a national competition to see which Big 10 university can bring in the most blood donations before December 7.
The campaign is open to alumni, students, employees, and fans; participants can give blood anywhere, even a different state. USC Campus Health will also have a big blood drive promotion at Conquest (November 21) for our community with an added prize incentive, and we regularly host blood drives on both campuses.
There is also a great incentive for us, and for the blood donors. The winning university will receive $1 million toward campus health initiatives. Individuals who submit to the competition are also entered into drawings for a trip to the Big 10 championship game. Annenberg Media recently wrote a story on the competition.
