Overcoming Remote Work Exhaustion

Before Covid-19, working from home was the dream. Enter 2020. We are realizing that remote work is not the utopia we had imagined. While technology supports business continuity, challenges have arisen that are causing exhaustion. Dr. Lara Hilton of Center for Work and Family Life explains why it is so hard – and how to make it easier. Topics include mindful Zooming, increasing social connection, and tips for self-care that will fix your work-from-home woes. Discussion to follow.

The training will include an overview of history, laws, and policies affecting undocumented individuals; share the needs, concerns, and challenges of immigrant students and their families; identify campus and community resources, and discuss what it means to be an ally to undocumented students.
