Annual Emergency Preparedness Fairs are presented by USC Fire Safety Emergency Planning and USC Staff Assembly. The Emergency Preparedness Fairs are designed to provide staff, students, and faculty with information on how to prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies and disasters. The fairs feature resources that are available at USC in the event of an emergency and demonstrations including home fire prevention, hands-on fire extinguisher training, first aid, USC disaster response equipment, hazardous materials emergencies, crisis support, and so much more. The events take place in the fall at both UPC and HSC.
Emergency supply vendors are on hand selling disaster survival kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, disaster food and water, flashlights, earthquake safety devices, and other items.
