In yet another sign of amazing change at the University with regards to staff inclusion, I was incredibly excited to receive a personal invitation from President-Elect Dr. Folt to join the Provost Search Advisory Committee in my role as Staff Assembly President. Staff and Student governance voices have been added to this critical committee in response to comments made, and the experience of, the Presidential Search Advisory Committee. I look forward to contributing a staff voice to the discussions and evaluations in the group’s future.
