Supporting our AAPI Communities

USC Staff Assembly condemns all acts of hatred, racism, xenophobia, and misogyny against our Asian, Asian American, Pacific Islander, Pacific Islander American, Multiethnic Asian, and Multiracial Asian communities. The recent events of murder and physical and verbal assaults have no place in our society. We are committed to ensuring USC is a community that welcomes racial and ethnic diversity and USC Staff Assembly is firmly committed to the inclusion of all AAPI staff, faculty, students, and alumni.

We are committed to eradicating hatred, racism, discrimination, and microaggressions against our AAPI Trojans. We stand with you! We support you! We will fight on with you.

Staff, students, and faculty can report incidents of bias and discrimination via the USC Office of Equity, Equal Opportunity, and Title IX. https://eeotix.usc.edu/report/  There are additional Staff support services through the Center for Work and Family Life. Additionally, staff, students, and faculty can participate in weekly dialogue spaces or expert panels with the Race + Equity + Wellbeing Series, a collaboration between the USC office of Campus Wellbeing and Education, and USC HR, Equity, and Compliance.
