TrojanSecure Information Security Awareness Training launches February 20, 2024 

On February 20, the annual Information Security Awareness training will be launched on TrojanLearn to all faculty and staff. The training due Monday, April 1, 2024 is approximately 60 minutes in duration and equips you with the knowledge and tools to better protect your personal and USC data from information security threats.  

Training Content

During the course, you will cover topics such as: acceptable use of technology, email phishing, data privacy, home network security, multi-factor authentication, generative artificial intelligence etc. This engaging learning experience tailored to USC, provides realistic scenarios where choices are contextualized within the broader Information Security topics and highlight how small decisions can lead to significant impacts. 

TrojanLearn Notifications

Faculty and staff will receive an initial email notification stating that they are assigned to take the course. In the subsequent weeks, they will receive additional reminders to complete the training. For staff, managers will be notified through TrojanLearn about past due trainings.
